CADBURY WORLD

On Thursday  13th of September we went to Cadbury World (A chocolate factory ) There were different parts: the first that was like a jungle, there was an attraction that we were seeing special chocolate figures, we saw a video of  Cadbury World and how to make the chocolate and the seats moved up and down!!,in one part there was a clock like  Big Ben, in another were activities in computers, then we could put with chocolate our names or pictures in a table and then we took a photo...They gave us chocolate and we went to the shop to buy chocolate or more things. One curious thing was that in one activity they took a photo of us and with it they made a chocolate figure of us!!I liked it very much.
Then they took us to a very big shopping center in Birmingham and from 12 o´clock more and less to 5 o´clock we were shopping there. Then we went back to Hereford, to the school and there were our English students and we went with them.It was an exciting day!!! We liked the 2007 exchange  a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Friday:

This day we stayed with our English partners.
This day we learned the same things they were taught like: Spanish, Science, Religion, Language, P.E, Maths, History…
We had to be with our English friends because they had to show us the school. It was an interesting day because in my case I played volley, I learned their lessons that are like the lessons of our school, but if they do the exercises very good they put a happy face in their notebook and the teachers also put in their notebooks like a mark of class, we were in their breaks, we had our lunch at 12:30 more or less and we played with them in their activities…
I like their uniforms, they are beautiful! They wear a tie, a skirt, a t-shirt and a jacket with crazy and beautiful pins some of those pins the teachers gave them to us if they do a sport really well it’s like a prize for them.
Ok, this is my day in the school, How was your day?

TRIP TO WESTONS CIDER

That morning, we were all confused about the trip. We didn’t know exactly what it was, we all thought it was the trip to the chocolate factory. But when we realized what Westons Cider was, we were very surprised. When we arrived to the factory, first of all we met our guide. I can’t remember his name, but he explained to us the making of cider: first, the squeezing of apples; later, adding alcohol on. Then he showed us all the facilities and the machines and we finally went to the shop where nearly everyone bought apple juice because it is very nice. Then, outside the factory, we had free time to enjoy our wonderful pack lunches!!  In my opinion, everybody enjoyed this trip, especially for the free time in Ledbury. It was a very nice town. We went to see the cathedral, a protestant one. It was quite beautiful and interesting cause in the past it was a catholic one (we know this because of a red light at the top of the church). Then we went to the market house, where we would BE MEETING after our free time. Next we went shopping. There were many shops where you could buy souvenirs from Wales and lots of other things. We just walked up and down the streets of Ledbury and we really enjoyed it. It was a wonderful sunny day.

My weekend in England.

On Saturday, my English girl Tabitha and I went to the beach with some of her friends. After three hours in the bus, singing English songs and greeting the people of the other cars, we arrived at the beach. First we put our towels and bags in the sand and then I began to observe the beach. We were very far away from the sea, not like in Spain, where you are very near from the sea. I went with Tabitha and her friends to the sea, that was really cold and clean by the way. We stayed there until 3:30, talking and eating our food and an ice-cream. We also ate some frites, hot and with salt. They were delicious!
When we came back to the house we had dinner and went to sleep. It was a very interesting day!

On Saturday, I went with my English girl Alex, her mother and her best friend to the river, for going canoeing. When we had already been two hours in the canoe, we stopped for eating our food and after that we went for a walk. When we returned, we saw some trees that were across the river, from one bank to the other, and we decided to cross over the river on them, but when we had already crossed, I realised that we had  to return and do it again! When we were trying to return, I had to climb up to the nearest tree, hurting myself with some branches. At last we crossed and stayed other three hours in the canoe. I was a bit tired but it was very funny.

  1. Fahrräder in Power!
